Who & What?

Sprocketbox.com is an online publication built to promote, review and discuss the contemporary art scene of Chicago. We
offer a voice for local artists and the galleries (including alternative spaces) that represent them. Complete with an ongoing
series of interviews, videos, and images combined with fine reporting from our freelance writing staff, and monthly themes
to tie it all together, Sprocketbox offers a fresh professional glimpse into the local art of Chicago.

FAQ

How do I list my gallery, myself as an artist, or an art show in your directories?
Galleries: Email sprocket@sprocketbox.com with your galleries name, location in the city of Chicago and the website
address, and we will take care of the rest. Your gallery must show contemporary art by living Chicago artists on a regular
basis in order to be listed. The term "gallery" implies any space or organization that exhibits original art work.

Artists: Email sprocket@sprocketbox.com with your name and a link to your website, myspace, email, or online portfolio.
You must either be a resident of Chicago or have recently shown work in Chicago to be listed. Exceptions will only be made
to artists of other locations that we have done articles on.

Art shows: If you are an artist or gallery who would like to promote your upcoming show, please email all important details
to sprocket@sprocketbox.com. If you would like an ad or banner placed on any of our pages, please write us for pricing
and we will get back to you promptly.

Why do you only represent Chicago?
Chicago has an incredible art scene that is not widely promoted in current art magazines. We don't know why that is, but
we hope to change that. We also live in Chicago, and believe it is up to us to represent.

Can I buy a printed version of Sprocketbox?
Not yet, but plans are on the way to create a printed magazine with national distribution.

What forms of payment do you accept?
All of our transactions are handled through Paypal to ensure maximum security for our customers. If you do not yet have
a Paypal account, signing up for one is fast, free, and easy. You can pay on Paypal with all major credit cards or with a
direct debit from your bank account.

Do you sell or display any of my personal information?
Certainly not. All personal information you submit over our website is solely for the purpose of shipping your purchase to
you and completing the transaction. It will never be viewed by a third party and will never be sold or transmitted for
marketing or demographic purposes. We will never harass you with unwanted e-mails or jeopardize you in any other way.

May I return an item?
Unfortunately, no. Well... maybe. It will be up to the artist whether an item can be returned or exchanged, and the
customer who wants to return the item will have to arrange for shipping the item back. If there is a definite problem with
the item when you receive it, send us an email to: support@sprocketbox.com

How long will it take to receive my order?
Your order is shipped directly from the artist within 48 hours, and you should receive it within 3 to 7 business days.

What happens if I don't get my order?
All orders will be tracked until they are received by the customer. If the artist fails to ship your item, they will be
contacted by us. If they are unable to ship the item, and cannot offer you a substitute that is satisfactory to you, then the
payment you made will be refunded in full. After examining the circumstance, we may decide to drop the artist / vendor
from the site.

I live outside of the United States, can I still purchase from Sprocketbox?
